In a short time, the platform has begun expanding rapidly
as Clinics and Professionals join a fairer, simpler way to
connect for locum and flexible shifts.
Today, our network already includes professionals and
clinics across 6 Australian states, with new members
joining each week as the platform continues to grow.
With the platform quickly approaching its first 100 members,
we are inviting the final professionals and Clinics to join
our Founding 100 with fee-free memberships to meet demand.

We understand first-hand how important a supportive, respectful and mentally safe work environment is – and how disruptive the wrong match can be for both clinics and professionals. With Shift & Paws, you’re not welcoming a stranger from a Facebook ad into your clinic; you’re engaging a vetted, professional candidate who has been reviewed and approved as if they were our own team member.
All clinics and professionals complete tailored onboarding questionnaires, with professionals also required to upload relevant certifications or provide registration numbers for verification. Interstate, international, or new-to-locum professionals may additionally be asked to provide references or attend a brief Zoom call to ensure we accurately capture their skills and experience.
